RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County grand jury indicted a driver Tuesday on second-degree murder and DWI charges.
Apex police say Robert Goodwin had been drinking before he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a minivan.
Hayun Chen, the driver of the van, died. Her two children were taken to the hospital.
Goodwin was driving a state truck at the time of the accident.
