RALEIGH, N.C. — The state's largest health insurance company is losing a major medical client.
WakeMed is dropping Blue Cross Blue Shield as a health benefits option for its employees next year.
The move will cost the company around 4,000 customers. WakeMed workers will choose between United Healthcare or Mid-Atlantic Medical Services.
