DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University is beefing up security inside the dorms after a student was attacked last year.
Students will now need a card to get inside the bathrooms at two dorms.
In October 2002, a man hiding out in a locked bathroom tried to sexually assault a female student. She was able to get away.
School officials say the system is easy to re-program if a student loses a card.
