Before developers demolish the place, they want to sell it piece-by-piece. Items ranging from carpet, electrical panels, store fixtures and even a piano, are all up for sale. The auction will go store by store, selling different items.
Auctioneer Randy Wester said people have already started asking about certain items.
"Chairs they may have sat in for years or benches that they want to put on their front porches," he said.
Wester said there is no minimum bid, so you just have to name your price. Auctioneers are even selling the shrubs outside along with the trash Dumpsters and fire hydrants.
The sale starts
10 a.m. Saturday and will continue until Feb. 1.
Developers are working to turn the old mall into shops, restaurants, condos and offices.
