Edwards Mill Extension To Be Temporarily Closed During Today's Cow Crossing

Posted — Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The New Edwards Mill Extension will temporarily be closed to vehicular traffic starting around 2 p.m. today so that scientists from N.C. State can move a herd of cows and baby calves across the road.

Police will block traffic as the cows cross. Traffic will resume after the cows get across.

The cows belong to N.C. State and are used for teaching purposes.
