RALEIGH, N.C. — Investigators are trying to determine what caused caused a single-vehicle wreck that killed a driver near North Carolina State University in Raleigh Wednesday evening.

N.C. State's Public Safety Office said the truck veered across oncoming traffic on Western Boulevard around 6:45 p.m.

Frank Marion Turnipseed, 71, of Cary crashed into a tree on a service road that runs parallel to Western Boulevard.

Investigators think Turnipseed may have experienced health problems just before the crash.

The state Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
