RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State University is denying a report that
Chancellor Marye Anne Fox
is about to leave Raleigh.
A report in the
Austin American-Statesman
Thursday stated Fox is a candidate for the top job in the University of Texas system.
A N.C. State spokesman said the story is just speculation.
Fox left Texas to take over as chancellor at N.C. State in the spring of 1999.
