National agencies join search for alleged kidnap victim

Two national organizations have joined the search for a missing woman who, police say, was abducted by her estranged husband from a Thomasville home early Tuesday.

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Two national organizations have joined the search for a missing woman who, police say, was abducted by her estranged husband from a Thomasville home early Tuesday.

According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, Charles O’Brien Teague attacked his in-laws and kidnapped his estranged, pregnant wife from her parents home at 7050 Sink Farm Road.

On Wednesday, America's Most Wanted and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children joined the search for Miranda Teague.

The suspect was believed to be driving a red 2000 Dodge Neon with N.C. licence plate RWD-6188. He was wanted on charges of attempted murder, first-degree burglary and kidnapping.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office asked that anyone with information on his whereabouts call 336-318-6699 or Randolph County Crime Stoppers at 336-672-7463.
