Man sought in Durham bank robbery

A man walked into the Wells Fargo branch at 900 W. Club Blvd. in Durham at about 9:20 a.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded money, police said. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police were searching for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Durham on Monday morning.

The man walked into the Wells Fargo branch at 900 W. Club Blvd. at about 9:20 a.m., implied he had a weapon and demanded money, police said. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was seen, and no one was injured, police said.

The robber is described as an older white man, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 145 pounds. He was unshaven and missing several teeth, and he was wearing a blue puffy coat with a hood, blue jeans, white shoes and sunglasses.
