Man injured during Garner home invasion, robbery
Garner police were investigating a home invasion, robbery and assault that happened at 1418 Old Buckhorn Road early Wednesday.
Posted — UpdatedThree people went into the house and stole cash around 2:45 a.m., police said.
The robbers hit homeowner Christopher Henson, 21, in the head with a shotgun, police said.
Henson was able to provide a limited description of his attackers, saying only that they were men wearing all black with their faces covered.
Garner detectives asked that anyone with information about the crime call 919-772-8810 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-2746. Tips may remain anonymous, and cash rewards are possible for information that leads to the arrest of the offenders.
