Woman exiting Fayetteville city bus struck by car, injured

A pedestrian was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after being struck by a car in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A pedestrian was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after being struck by a car in Fayetteville.

Fayetteville police said that a pedestrian exited a city bus and was attempting to cross Murchison Road near Bullock Street when they were struck by a vehicle traveling south at about 4:40 p.m.

The pedestrian, identified as Miyosha Noel-Davis, 16, of the 700 block of Murchison Road,  was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Shearon Adams, 57, of the 500 block of Kernstown Road, was not injured in the crash.

No charges will be filed in connection with the crash.
