I-40 reopened at Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh
Authorities reopened Interstate 40 at Mile Marker 300 (Rock Quarry Road) after a 16-year-old female was removed from the bridge.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities reopened Interstate 40 at Mile Marker 300 (Rock Quarry Road) after a 16-year-old female was removed from the bridge.
Officials said the teen was removed unharmed and was being evaluated.
All lanes of traffic were reopened around 4:50 p.m. The interstate was closed in both directions for just under an hour.
