I-540 lanes temporarily closed for inspection
Eastbound and westbound lanes from U.S. Highway 64 Business and Triangle Town Boulevard will be reduced to one lane beginning 9 p.m. Wednesday until Oct. 7.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Lanes on part of Interstate 540 in Raleigh will be reduced until early next week while the Department of Transportation inspects the roadway's concrete.
Eastbound and westbound lanes from U.S. Highway 64 Business and Triangle Town Boulevard will be reduced to one lane beginning 9 p.m. Wednesday until Oct. 7.
Work on the road will take place nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekends.
