FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Hope Mills man has been charged with murder in the Wednesday shooting death of a Fayetteville man, authorities said.

Timothy Glen Jacobs, 26, of 6329 Beauchamp Drive, is charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon in the death of Richard Dubisky, authorities said.

Dubisky, 51, was found dead at about 2 p.m. Wednesday inside his 1332 Ward St. home, authorities said. He had been shot, and investigators said robbery was the likely motive.

Jacobs was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
