Goldsboro police bust man with meth

Goldsboro police found about 5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine during a traffic stop Saturday on U.S. Highway 70.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police found about 5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine during a traffic stop Saturday on U.S. Highway 70.

They arrested Jose Alejandro Arciniega-Moreno, 27, of 1036 Bakers Chapel Church Road in Mount Olive, charging him with trafficking methamphetamine by transporting and trafficking methamphetamine by possession.

Officers estimated that the meth was equal to more than 22,000 doses with at street value of $250,000.
