Fire breaks out at Hardee's in Garner

Garner Fire officials were called to the Hardee's at 100 Vandora Springs Rd. about 9 p.m. Three employees were in the building at the time.

Officials said a buildup of grease in the hood system was the likely cause. Smoke could be seen coming from the top of the building as officials quickly worked to put the fire out.

Fire officials were investigating the exact cause late Saturday night.
