FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County authorities were searching Monday for a Fayetteville man wanted in a knife attack on another man.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Calem Reese Madden, 24, of 416 Cedric Street, on charges of aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Deavyn Michael Evans, 21, told deputies that Madden slashed his face and neck with a knife, then took car keys from a witness to the incident and drove off in a 1997 Buick LeSabre.

Madden is white, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 145 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes, has a scar along his right eyebrow and several tattoos on his hands and has a tattoo of the words “Natural Born Killer” on his back.

Anyone with information on Madden’s whereabouts is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500 or the office's anonymous tip line at 910-484-TIPS (8433).

Investigators urged people not to approach Madden because they believe he is armed and dangerous.
