Fayetteville man gets prison time in fatal wreck
A Fayetteville man was sentenced Thursday to more than 22 years in prison for a December 2007 wreck that killed two people, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedAnthony McSwain, 35, pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count each of reckless driving and driving left of center.
Police said McSwain's Toyota Camry crossed the center line of Skibo Road on Dec. 17, 2007, and collided head-on with a Hyundai Elantra driven by Clarice V. Black. Black, 30, and Harland Arthur Lewis, 44, both of Sudbury Drive, were killed in the wreck.
McSwain, who was critically injured in the wreck, was sentenced to between 266 and 338 months in prison.
