Durham Police Name Man Wanted in Drive-By

Durham police named one man they are searching for in connection with a drive-by shooting in late October that left two people injured.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police named a man they are searching for in connection with a drive-by shooting on Gurley Street, near Dowd Street, in late October.

Investigators said Christopher Antonio Fisher, 20, was one of two people in a green Acura involved a drive-by at 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 25. Two men – ages 18 and 22 – were shot in their legs and treated at Duke University Hospital.

Fisher, of Cleveland Street, was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and one count each of going armed to the terror of the public and discharging a firearm within the city limits.

Fisher also goes by the nickname Hoggie. He was described as a black male with short hair, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Police laid the same charges against Kelvin Satterfield Jr., 19, of Dowd Street, and arrested him on Nov. 20.
