Durham police investigating sexual assault

A woman reported to police on Saturday that she had been sexually assaulted, officers said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A woman reported to police on Saturday that she had been sexually assaulted, police said.

Officers responded to a sexual assault call at 11:35 a.m. They spoke to a woman who had been assaulted at an unknown location.

She had sustained injuries and was transported to Duke University Hospital, police said.

Officers said they did not have a motive or suspect descriptions.
