Burglaries inside the beltline spike
Since January, Raleigh police say they have responded to more than 40 burglaries inside the Interstate 440 Beltline.

“My computer was gone. They took some cash, a loaded pistol and my gym bag,” Stacey said of the robbery this past Saturday.

Raleigh police are encouraging neighbors to keep their windows secure and doors locked. However, in the past four months, many burglaries reported involved forced entry.
"My big thing is just getting the word out, talking to people and letting people know because I think without that help, we’re not going to get anywhere,” Stacey said.
