Posted — UpdatedPfc. Glenn Allen Young Jr., 23, of the 100 block of Crambrook Court, surrendered to police Tuesday to face one count of attempted second-degree rape. He was released from jail after posting $10,000 bail.
Detective Jose Garcia said that Young came over to the victim's house after they became friends on Facebook.
Young became sexually aggressive, and when the victim pushed him away, he pinned her down and tried to rip off her clothes, the detective said. She managed to get away and run toward the door, prompting Young to flee.
Garcia said the victim was not physically harmed and has sought help from a local domestic violence counseling center.
