Boyfriend charged with murder in disappearance of Apex mom

Montgomery's mother posted to Facebook as recently as Dec. 5. "I’m devastated and just want to know where my baby is," she wrote.
She told WRAL News that her daughter "was excellent at everything she did ... She was a pure joy ... There are countless memories of how proud she made me."
Montgomery was the mother of a 5-year-old boy.
"She love that kid more than anything. That was her whole, entire world," said friend Jamie Boyd. "That was her motivating force for everything in life."
Boyd said Montgomery had a skill for making people feel beautiful.
Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman told WRAL News that authorities have not recovered Montgomery's body. She did not say what evidence led to the charge against Jacome-Granizo. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon at 2.
