Authorities seek juvenile escapee

The boy, identified as "Bernard T.," is from Wake County, but was confined to the Omega house at 8619 Tangle Tree Drive. He was last seen there at 6 p.m. Sunday night.

LINDEN, N.C. — A boy escaped from custody at a residential treatment program in Linden Sunday, authorities said.

The boy, identified as "Bernard T.," is from Wake County, but was confined to the Omega house at 8619 Tangle Tree Drive. He was last seen there at 6 p.m. Sunday night.

The North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is concerned about the safety of the public and Bernard and is asking anyone who sees him to call law enforcement.
