19-year-old charged in fatal Durham shooting

A man was killed following a Wednesday night shooting in Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. — A man was killed following a Wednesday night shooting in Durham.

Durham police said officers responded to the 1700 block of Holloway Street just after 8 p.m. and found Moncel Deangelo Garrett-Richardson, 21, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Garrett-Richardson was taken to an area hospital, where he died as a result of his wounds.

Jonathan Wade White, 19, of Durham, was arrested shortly after the shooting on a murder charge. He was being held without bond in the Durham County jail.
