New bakery opens in downtown Raleigh
Lucettegrace is the brainchild of former Umstead pastry chef Daniel Benjamin.
Posted — UpdatedI had the Bourbon Pecan Pie Croissant and it was delicious! Just sweet enough and had a great pie filling in the middle. I can't wait to go back and try the Dixie Cannonball, which is basically a warm biscuit that has warm scallions, hoop cheddar, breakfast sausage and is served with cream gravy inside of it.
And of course, they are serving Larry's Beans coffee with your choice of a variety of flavor infusions. I got Escazu chocolate in mine.
Lucettegrace will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and then 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays. For now, they will remain closed on Sundays.
The menu will include just sweet and savory pastries, muffins and croissants for now, but Benjamin will be expanding to include breakfast and lunch items.
