RALEIGH, N.C. — WRAL-TV weekend anchor Renee Chou wowed the crowd and the judges with her rumba performance Sunday and took home the "Dancing Like the Stars" title.

Chou competed against North Carolina Lottery drawing host Tina Seldin-Cash, who came in second place, Billy Dukes from 94.7 FM WQDR, Scott Fiztgerald from 680 AM WPTF and NBC-17’s Bill Reh.

People voting online at the National Inclusion Project Web site selected Chou as the winner. She also received perfect 10s from all three judges.

Dance partner Dan Barber helped lead Chou to first place. He and other professional instructors from A Step to Gold International Ballroom in Raleigh taught the contestants.

All proceeds from the contest benefit the National Inclusion Project, formerly known as the Bubel/Aiken Foundation, which was co-founded in 2003 by American Idol alum and Raleigh native Clay Aiken. The nonprofit promotes the inclusion of children with disabilities in activities with children who are not disabled.
