Chou and Seldin-Cash will be competing with Billy Dukes from 94.7 FM WQDR, Scott Fiztgerald from 680 AM WPTF and NBC-17’s Bill Reh.
The local celebs will strut their stuff at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Jim Graham building at the State Fairgrounds during the Southern Women's Show.
The competition is based on the popular TV show "Dancing With the Stars.”
“I've always had an interest in ballroom dancing – my parents have ballroom danced for ten years now – but never had the guts to try it," Chou said.
Chou is learning the rumba.
All proceeds from the contest benefit the National Inclusion Project, formerly known as the Bubel/Aiken Foundation, which was co-founded in 2003 by American Idol alum and Raleigh native Clay Aiken. The nonprofit promotes the inclusion of children with disabilities in activities with children who are not disabled.
