Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin to make N.C. campaign stops
John McCain's running mate and Barack Obama's wife are scheduled to make campaign stops Tuesday in North Carolina.
Posted — UpdatedJohn McCain's running mate and Barack Obama's wife are scheduled to make campaign stops Tuesday in the state. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will attend a rally in Greenville, while Michelle Obama is speaking in Jacksonville.
Palin will attend a 7 p.m. rally at East Carolina University's Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum, 1 Ficklen Drive. It will be the first appearance in North Carolina by either Palin or Republican presidential candidate John McCain since the state's May primary.
Barack Obama and his running mate, Joe Biden, have each made stops in North Carolina in recent weeks. Michelle Obama also visited Charlotte and Greensboro last month.
