Police investigation underway in Rocky Mount neighborhood

A police investigation is underway in Rocky Mount.
The scene was on South Tillery Street.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was at the crime scene. You can see several evidence markers on the ground outside a home that's covered in crime scene tape.
Residents said they heard shots being fired, but it's unclear why police are at the home.
WRAL News is working to learn what prompted the investigation and whether anyone was hurt.
