Highway Patrol investigating motorcycle crash in Wendell
The status of the driver is unknown, but the rear wheel of the motorcycle was detached during the accident.

A crash involving a motorcycle on Saturday shut down Edgemont Road in Eastern Wake County, near Wendell.
The motorcycle's rear wheel was detached and off the road on the shoulder. There is currently no word on the condition of the driver.
The Highway Patrol is investigating.
