A woman died in a crash early Saturday morning in Wayne County.

DUDLEY, N.C. — A woman died in a crash early Saturday morning in Wayne County.
It happened around 1 a.m. on Stanley Chapel Church Road in Dudley.
Investigators said the driver veered off the roadway and overturned in the wreck. The woman did not survive.
The investigation is ongoing.
