Driver charged with DWI after crashing in front yard of Johnston County home at 100 mph
A driver is facing multiple charges, including DWI, after crashing in the front yard of a Johnston County home Friday morning while going more than 100 mph.

A driver is facing multiple charges, including DWI, after crashing in the front yard of a Johnston County home Friday morning while going more than 100 mph.
A state trooper at the scene said the driver was going more than 100 mph when the driver lost control of the car, went airborne and struck a power pole -- barely missing a home.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. on Buffalo Road.
The trooper said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver has been charged with the following crimes:
- DWI
- Speeding
- Open container
- Driving left of center
- Reckless driving
- Not wearing a seat belt
