Sampson County deputies investigating overnight shooting that hospitalized one person

There is currently no word on what started the shooting or if anyone was injured.

CLINTON, N.C. — Deputies in Sampson County responded to a shooting Monday night.

The shooting took place on the 300 block of Quail Run Lane.

One person was taken to the hospital.

Deputies say one person has been arrested.
