Winston-Salem police: Woman facing charges for shooting boyfriend during argument

Winston-Salem police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one injured.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police said a woman is facing charges for allegedly shooting her boyfriend during an argument.

Police said 31-year-old Talisa Walker is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, injury to real property and discharging a firearm in the city.

Officials said this happened on Saturday morning around 4:45 at a home on Glencoe Street.

Investigators said Walker fired two rounds. They said the first struck a glass door, and the second hit her boyfriend in his shoulder.

Walker is in jail without bond.
