Multiple law enforcement agencies break up fight at Triton High School; homecoming dance postponed
Multiple law enforcement agencies had to break up several fights that broke out at a Triton High School football game Friday night.

The Harnett County Sheriff's Office and the Erwin and Dunn police departments all responded.
The sheriff's office said there were multiple altercations that happened before Erwin police arrived on scene.
According to a witness, who wished to remain anonymous, The fights started around the third quarter of the game. All spectators, including the Westover High School marching band and cheerleaders had to leave the stadium.
By the time Erwin police arrived, the sheriff's office said deputies had the scene secured.
WRAL News is working to learn if anyone was hurt and if police have anyone in custody.
On Friday night, the high school announced the homecoming dance will be postponed.
The school provided a statement on the fight Saturday on their Facebook page.
