FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — New York Fashion Week happened earlier this month, and models from all over the world came to the event. One of the biggest stars was from Fayetteville.

Aubree Hill is a 4-year-old preschooler from Lake Rim Elementary School in Fayetteville. She strutted the runway at New York Fashion Week with class, style, and a little bit of attitude.

Her passion for modeling started when she was told she was too young to walk the runway with the older girls.

Aubree is just 4 years old and from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was among the youngest to be chosen to walk the runway for multiple shows during New York Fashion Week.

"She cried when she saw the other girls walking. She said, 'I want to model. I want to model,'" Shontae Hill, her mother, said. "So, during intermission she took off and started modeling."

Aubree started modeling her own with her own clothes.

As you might imagine, Aubree loves the videos and all the pictures.

Aubree may be a shy person, but on the modeling runway, she's a pint-sized bottle of fire ready to explode.

Her father, a musician, was blown away by her natural talent.

"She's very crafty," Anthony Hill, father said. "Her rhythms are really wonderful. Like, she has amazing rhythms. With music, she moves to the music on the right beat."

The Hills offer this advice to other parents: Keep it simple, make it fun, and don't force a child to model if they're not interested.
