Poe Center to host Healthy Habits camp
RALEIGH, N.C. — Help get your children into healthier habits at the Poe Center for Health Education in Raleigh this summer.

The "Healthy Habits Camp" is designed for rising 1st through 5th grade students. It will be held at the center located at 224 Sunnybrook Road.

The camp will include health education activities, game, crafts and time to play.

Week-long camps are planned June 26 to 30 and again on July 17 to 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Healthy Habits Camp is exclusively offered to qualifying children.

The camp is offered at no cost to qualifying families through the USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Children who qualify for free or reduced-price lunches at school or any other qualifying Government Assistance programs may participate at no cost.
