Nonprofit offers free prom dresses in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh nonprofit is hosting a free prom dress giveaway event this week.

The event, dubbed The Cinderella Project, is being held Wednesday and Thursday, April 19 and 20, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Ivy House at 1731 Trawick Road in Raleigh. A parent or guardian must be present. All schools and counties are welcome to attend.

The event is presented by Angie Hall, the founder of The Hall Foundation.
