Durham's Alley Twenty Six to sell cocktail and tonic syrups nationwide

DURHAM, N.C. — Nationally recognized Alley Twenty Six is expanding its reach.

Bar owner Shannon Healy has launched an online store to sell his award-winning line of Alley Twenty Six cocktail and tonic syrups nationwide.

Alley Twenty Six was one of five finalists for this year's James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Bar Program. It was the Durham's Alley Twenty Six first of its kind to be nominated for James Beard Award categoryto be nominated in this national category.

Alley opened in 2012 on Chapel Hill Street. The bar has become known for its drinks and crafting its own soda, ginger syrup and fresh-made juices.

In 2015, Healy began selling Alley Twenty Six tonic syrup to bars, restaurants and local customers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Healy added a line of cocktail syrups in a variety of flavors.

The online store will offer the tonic syrup and three cocktail syrups (strawberry, raspberry and blood orange).

A 12.5-ounce bottle will cost $13 each or three bottles for $38, plus shipping. Orders can be placed via the Alley Twenty Six Syrups website.
