Sheriff searching for person responsible for destroying 12 Fayetteville school buses

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is searching for the person responsible for causing "severe" damaging to at least 12 school bus radiators at Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville.

Thousands of dollars in damage were done to the buses at around 2 a.m. last Friday, according to the sheriff's office.

The buses are now unusable, authorities said. Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact the sheriff's office property crime's unit at 910-677-5455.
