Pennsylvania murder suspect arrested in Fayetteville

A man wanted for murder in Johnstown, Penn., was taken into custody in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man wanted for murder in Pennsylvania was taken into custody in Fayetteville.
NBC affiliate WPXI reports that Dionte Demond Jones, 28, was taken into custody on Monday by the United States Marshals Service.

Jones was charged with murder in the death of Dashawn Cornelius Green.

Green's body was found in Indiana County, Pa. by a highway maintenance worker inspecting a drain on Jan. 21. An autopsy showed that Green died from a gunshot wound, according to WXPI.

Two Pennsylvania women, a mother and daughter, were also charged in connection to the case.

Green remained at Hoke County Jail awaiting extradition.
