Man charged after carjacking at Triangle Town Center leads to crash
Two people were hospitalized and in serious condition after an attempted carjacking at Triangle Town Center Saturday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people were hospitalized and in serious condition after an attempted carjacking at Triangle Town Center Saturday.
Officers with the Raleigh Police Department were dispatched to a carjacking call at 4:14 p.m. According to police, as the driver left the vehicle, a man, Talon Cameron Custer, jumped in and took off driving with the passenger still inside.
As Custer was driving away to escape, he crashed the vehicle.
Custer, 33, of Goldsboro, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, second-degree kidnapping and common law robbery.
