CLINTON, N.C. — Pork and poultry litter burned for four hours in a silo fire that drew nine fire departments and about sixty personnel to Prestage Farms in Clinton.
Authorities received a call for the fire at 6:34 p.m. on Monday.
Firefighters had to spray about1,000 gallons of water a minute to put it out.
Authorities still have not reported what caused the fire.
