RALEIGH, N.C. — Here's what's going on at the General Assembly on Wednesday, Oct. 9:
  • Senate Finance takes up a measure to change parenting coordinator laws in custody disputes. (10 a.m., 544 LOB)
  • The Senate voting session will be held at 2:30 p.m., with mini-budgets to extend the historic preservation tax credit and to fund the "Raise the Age" effort to try 16- and 17-year-olds charged with nonviolent crimes as juveniles.
  • The House has mini-budgets to fund the state Department of Transportation and community colleges on its 3 p.m. floor calendar.
