RALEIGH, N.C. — Three robberies occurred at three gas station convenience stores over a span of only a few hours early Monday morning.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to the Circle K store at 2400 Spring Forest Road. The suspect was believed to be wearing a blue hoodie, and he fled the store on foot after stealing from the cash register.

There was a report that the suspect had a gun and may have fired shots, but police did not confirm that information.

Around 2:15 a.m., another robbery was reported at the Circle K gas station along 4100 Western Blvd., approximately 10 miles, or 15 minutes, from the first robbery. Another male suspect in a blue hoodie was reported to have left the store.

Police confirmed that those robberies were connected.
