RALEIGH, N.C. — The burger chain started by actor-rappers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg with their chef brother is coming to Raleigh.

Wahlburgers recently signed a lease on space in The Hudson, a high-rise at 319 Fayetteville St.

Slated to open in early 2017, the restaurant will occupy 5,470 square feet smack dab in the center of the downtown district. The restaurant will feature both a fast/casual counter and full-service dining room with a bar in addition to a small retail section with branded Wahlburgers T-shirts, hats, and more.

"With such a dynamic group of shops, restaurants and attractions, downtown Raleigh is at the height of economic growth and we look forward to serving this diverse and thriving neighborhood," said Rick Vanzura, CEO of Wahlburgers.
