CARY, N.C. — Michael Joyce, a member of the Cary Town Council, submitted his resignation Wednesday.
Joyce was elected to his first four-year term on the Cary Town Council in fall 2003.
The Cary Town Council will appoint someone to fill Joyce's unexpired term until citizens have the opportunity to elect a successor in next year's municipal elections.
