DURHAM, N.C.Bull City Craft, the arts and crafts supply store that also offers summer camps, birthday parties, drop-in activities and more, is closing up shop.

"We have loved painting, crafting, and celebrating with you over the last eight years. We so appreciate all your support," the owners wrote in a message linked to the shop's Facebook page. "The store, summer camps, Playcraft, and drop-in paint-it-yourself projects will remain open until August 9. We hope you will come by!"

The store opened in 2011 in Durham and moved to a bigger space at Homestead Market Shopping Center, 105 West NC 54, in 2016. Fans on Facebook expressed their sadness that it is closing.

Owner Jessica Greene, who has offered some great crafts here on Go Ask Mom over the years, tells me that she hopes to still be involved in providing programs for kids even after the store closes.

"We are not sure yet what our next steps will be," Greene wrote in an email. "We are considering some options for continuing some of our most popular programs, such as kids' classes and camps. We have really enjoyed meeting so many families in our community, and we hope to continue serving the community in some way."
