Raleigh

The NC Theatre Conservatory will stage the cheerleading musical "Bring It On" from July 5 to July 7 at Hermann Athletic Center at William Peace University. Tickets start at $25. The show, featuring students from NC Theatre's flagship training program, will be different from a standard theater experience, unfolding in a transformed gym where the audience will feel like they're watching a real cheerleading competition.
CAM Raleigh will host a family day from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 6. The free event includes art projects, tours of CAM's latest exhibitions, free snacks, music and more.
Mordecai Historic Park near downtown Raleigh will host a Living History Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 6. There will be historic demonstrations and activities. It's free, no registration is required.

Durham

American Dance Festival's second children's matinee of the season is 1 p.m., Saturday, July 6, at Page Auditorium. Tickets are $10. Pilobolus will be on stage.
The Durham Bulls Athletic Park will host the USA Collegiate National Team vs Cuba at 6 p.m., July 4 and July 6. Tickets are $15. (The teams also play in Cary at 6 p.m., July 5.)
The annual Festival for the Eno is July 4 and July 6 at West Point on the Eno. There's live music, lots of outdoor activities, nature programs and more. Tickets are $23, $11 for teens and free for 12 and under.

Cary

Booth Amphitheatre's Movies by Moonlight series will screen "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," on Friday, July 5. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and free for kids 12 and under.
The NC Courage, the professional women's soccer team, will play the Houston Dash at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 5, at WakeMed Soccer Park. Fireworks will follow the game.

Youngsville

Hill Ridge Farms has a $4 admission deal through Sunday, July 7.

Zebulon

The Carolina Mudcats have home games July 4 to July 9. Post-game fireworks are planned after the July 4 and July 6 games.
